SUMMARY:Custom Rod Builders Guild 2025 Election Ballot
DESCRIPTION:  \nThis year’s ballot contains two sections: award nominees\, and a survey. Both are important for the participation in the Guild’s membership to have a voice in the organizations business. \n  \nThe ballot also contains nominations for the induction of members into the Legacy Legends Hall of Fame. Nominations are made by any active Guild member and are determined by the vote of the membership during the annual general election.  The Legacy Legends Hall of Fame is the Guild’s highest recognition for those who have been exemplary models in their skills\, leadership\, service\, or achievements and have set high standards for others to aspire. The Roddy Award is the Guild’s highest award for outstanding achievement or service over a lengthy period of time. The Don Morton Outstanding Achievement Aware is the Guild’s highest award for exemplary achievement for a specific act over a specific period of time. DESCRIPTION:     Sixth Annual  \nAmerican Tackle\nCustom Rod Builders Guild Workshop\nJanuary 29 – 30\, 2022\n  \nThe Custom Rod Builders Guild Southeast Region will be kicking off the New Year with its 6th  Annual Custom Rod Builders Guild Workshop sponsored by American Tackle. In addition to the many custom rod building presentations this year’s workshop will be the first CRBG event where some of the presentations will be presented by a live feed over the web.\nAt the workshop there will also be plenty of food\, custom rod displays\, a People’s Choice Award\, open discussion and the raffle of custom rod building items.\nAlso back by popular demand is the deep-sea fishing trip out of Cape Canaveral on Friday\, January 28\, 2022. Cost and departure time will be announced later.\nThe workshop will begin at 8:00 AM Saturday\, January 29 and wrap up around 4:00 PM Sunday\, January 30.\nOnly active members may participate in this event; if you are new or need to renew\, please check the registration form for\nmembership fee and then pay through the website SHOP after submitting your registration form.\nNew\, starting this event\, is the provision for a Limited Event Membership.  Maybe you have a friend who might be interested in joining the Guild but would like to experience attending an event first.  For only $20\, they may purchase a Limited Event Membership that allows them to participate in one event; and if they decide to become a regular member may pay only the remaining difference within one month of the event to become a member with full membership benefits.  Prior members may not purchase this special Limited Event Membership. \nIn order to provide the quality level of food\, beverages\, and amenities for this workshop it is necessary to charge a small\nactivity fee to help offset the costs. DESCRIPTION:Well it’s time for the SCRB “Fall Fest”! On September 10\, 2016\, we’ll be hosting the SCRB Fall Fest over at my house\, which is located at 1603 Avenue F\, Danbury\, TX 77534 (Same location as the last event). Based on the feedback from our last get together\, we’re going to reduce the number of presenters at this gathering and allow more time to sit down together as a group and throw around different thoughts and ideas and give everyone a chance to ask any questions they might have.\n\n\n \n\n\nWe’re working on getting a list of presenters together for the meeting\, but if there is anything specific that you would be interested in seeing 1st hand and/or learning more about\, please let me know in the comments below. If we get enough interest in a specific topic\, we’ll try to get a presenter for it for this meeting.\n\n\n \n\n\nI’ll update the announcement as we get presenters lined up\, so stay tuned and I hope to see you all there!
