Custom Rod Builders Guild 2024 Election Ballot

This year’s ballot contains two sections: candidates for office and awards. Both are important for the participation in the Guild’s membership to have a voice in the organizations business.

The following ballot contains the candidates for Directors and the President’s positions.  Those candidates submitted applications during the October 21 to November 4 , 2023 period for application submission and all who applied were found to be qualified by the Nominations Committee to be placed on the ballot. Voting will be open to all members in good standing from November 9 to midnight, November 23, 2024. The Nominations Committee will check that all ballots were cast by members in good standing and only one vote was cast by each voting member.   The list of selectees will be presented to the Board and announced on the website and Facebook on/ or about November 27, 2024.  The Selectees terms will begin on January 1, 2025. 

Your participation in this election is important and gratefully appreciated by the Guild as well as the candidates.  The terms of the members of the Board of Directors are staggered to provide continuity of operations and to avoid unnecessary disruption.  Therefore, annual elections will be held each year and conducted with the same timing and procedures as this event.  Your participation as candidates or voting will remain open and transparent…and available for all.  Please complete the following ballot.

The ballot also contains nominations for the induction of members into the Legacy Legends Hall of Fame. Nominations are made by any active Guild member and are determined by the vote of the membership during the annual general election.  The Legacy Legends Hall of Fame is the Guild’s highest recognition for those who have been exemplary models in their skills, leadership, service, or achievements and have set high standards for others to aspire. The Don Morton Outstanding Achievement Aware is the Guild’s highest award for exemplary achievement for a specific act over a specific period of time. Candidates for induction into the Legacy Legends Hall of Fame, The Roddy Award, and the Don Morton Outstanding Achievement Award are nominated by any Guild member in good standing.
